I run 33's (actually 285/75R16 on 16 x 8 rims) with no lift and no rubbing. Just had to bend back the bottom back corner on the fender lip a little bit with the 5 lb sledge. But not enough that you can tell I did it.
I used to have 2" on my truck with 33's (BFG AT's on 10wides) and it rubbed if u flexed it pretty good I got 4" now and that defiantly solved the rubbing problem. A friend of mine used to run no lift and 33's and his wouldent rub either but thats because his spring would bottom out on the bump stops before they could rub
3" body and 33x12.5 on 16.5x9.75 and yeah... rubbed... even banged the tire into the fender and buckled the fender.... hit a rut from someone with 38's... this is about 1994 ish...
pick on my mullet and I will smack you!!!!!
this is 1991 with same size tires and same rims... but 0 lift
