Are there any pictures of a K5 with a 2" or 3" Tough Country Lift Kit? I am just trying to make my mind up. I already have the Bilstein 5100 shocks for either one of them.

I think 2” is perfect. I see a lot of massive trucks and I’m just not into that anymore. Plus I want it to fit in my garage

3" is what you want. With 33" tires no problem in garages. I got 35" bfg ko2s, which are undersized works great still off road and fits in my garage.

I always confuse the two. I rn one of the 2 in late 90s . My mind says it was Tuff country, 2.5" all spring lift kit shocks and all. I didn't mind it at all, could drink coffee while driving no worry about bumps. Suburban wheel base though.

Vote for 3in Tuff Country right here with 33x12.50x15s. No rubbing. That's what's on my '88 in the pics below. Also, these pics make me miss driving the '88 so bad.

I tried 2 and 2.5in on my '79 and it rubs on daily street driving on sharp turns if there's a bump involved. The cab mounts and supports are rusted out real good though on it.

Sorry, little late to the party but 2" lift with 33x12.50R15 tires. No rubbing ever and wife is able to get in and out with just a small push.

This looks great! Only difference is I went with restored rally wheels and 10.5” wide tires. Currently still doing maintenance on mine.
