How big would you go for a two post lift? The heaviest thing I plan to lift is an old Ford van ambulance 7.3, we’re gonna weigh it because the internet guesses these might run over 10k! The reason I wonder is because overhead height is not an issue and I don’t want to limit myself. My main concern is that the heavier I go I’ll sacrifice on the small end, I don’t know if that’s even a possibility but I’m worried so I’m asking as I don’t want to limit myself if I want to pick up a low slung car.
 
12k and if you can find one wider that std 2 post this makes it nice for big body's like the ambulance and flatbeds . were i use to work years ago they got a 12k rotary wide lift and it was so nice over the std width even made working on hummer's much better for getting in/out of them .

and skip all the cheep china nockoff stuff . rotary / bendpack / forward ( rotory budget brand ) mohawk / stay name brand .
