Do you have to cut the wheel well free and then remount it? Can you still run a back seat after you taper it? Thanks Denny

I can tell you this about tapering one. measure 8 times before you cut once. whatever amount you think you want to taper it, use half that, you can always cut more. I cut into my shortbed. after the first big cut I realized that I cut more then I should, I have a flatbed now. :doah:

the seat fits between the wheelwells now, so unless you move the entire wheelwell in the seat should still fit.

The only way I see being able to keep the rear seat, is if you start the taper after the rear seat (lame and kinda pointless) or if you keep the wheel wells in their stock position and trim the outside of them to match the taper. That may leave a small gap to fill depending on how you do it.

When I did mine I found that the wheel wells bolt to the fenders and have to be cut off of the floor.

I just overlapped the wheel well and the floor.

I've got more and can get others if you need.
