How can you get the Drag link ends off with out a fork?
And are stock length leaf springs (RC) the same from pin to the end? Like 26 x 26?

The DLE's are easy to remove. Just loosen the nut a good amount and then with a ball peen hammer give a few good smacks on the pitman arm and steering arm around where the DLE taper is and they will come loose. This usually only takes 2 or 3 good smacks with the proper sized BFH. :D

DO NOT hit on the stud of the DLE.

X2, and the stock springs are 26/26 for the rear 52's, and 23.5/23.5 for the front 47's. This applies to most lift springs too up to about 4" of lift anyways. Custom springs are often longer, and I suspect 6" and up might be longer with off the shelf lift springs too.

DO NOT hit on the stud of the DLE.
Even if I leave the castle nut on it?

Well that wouldnt matter huh Im not trying to save the threads on the old one.....

Ok so do it just like takeing a tre out...?

I put my fronts in with out checking , and was sitting here and for some reason started to wonder on the length. But they looked fine when I finished putting them in.

Thanks guys

If you are replacing the DLE's then by all means hammer away on the stud portion but it's easier to get the taper to break loose like i said.

IME, hitting the draglink or tie rod end is the least effective way to get them off.

The fork is the best (as long as you're not reusing the joint) and they're only ~$10
