2 wheel peel / rebirth of a short bed c-10

I'm gonna do the vintage air in my burb... from the stuff ive read its like about the same as having the a/c from a new truck in the old body. not just because it IS new.... but because of the newer style condensers and refigerants and such. they say they'll freeze you out if you want:waytogo: in my case it'll cost the same to fix the old as it will to do the vintage air one:doah:

i like the fact you get stepper motors for control . this will let you swap from the stock control panel if you want and run there new style 3 round knob setup so you can put the controls were you want .

and in my case i want to run 4 extra gauges were the cubby pocket and hvac controls are now.

so it would be a multi level win for me . :waytogo:

I will go that route eventually too in the CC Cummins swap....that will clean off the firewall for more intake/turbo room for the Cummins, and the ole R12 system will probably take as much to fix it, as a new Vintage air system would cost.

got a gal of BLUE today for the truck to start painting the inside of the cab and jamb the body parts out .

this weekend will be spray paint hopefully . even if just a little bit.

got filler primer on the rest of the main parts . had to do little bit on door edge's . you could see the factory spot welds on the edge. otherwise ready to go .

nice color man! i'd love to properly paint my suburban one day but a complete tear down scares me, lol! maybe its because i don't have room for all the interior parts to stay organized. either way, keep it up, it looks good!

are you going with a bright white, or something more of a creamier white?

I like it! Not too far off from the blue my k10 is. Only that's all faded, dented and of course a little rusty.
