2 wheel peel / rebirth of a short bed c-10

no wiring in it at all yet or fuel lines .

but rolling frame is all done . just got to plumb fuel and flare few brake lines at master and add wires and flash pcm . then exhaust and drive shaft .

its gona be the last bit that drive me nuts. :doah:

picked the color off a sample book . it was 1 of 3 I liked in the paint store . then I took it out side and this one just said pic me out in the sun .

I can get the paint code up here some day .

I call it almost a Sunoco blue off the Sunoco stickers they give out all over the race tracks .

Looks great!

Seen quite a few paint jobs done on a dirt or gravel floor, while not being the best environment, it can certainly work and looks like it did here.

did you sweep and water the gravel before spraying?:pimp:

Good to see another one back on the rebound, nicely done Brett!

you have to ask my buddy if he did  I don't paint .

glad to have it under my roof and ready for me to finish when I get the plow truck done first .

o.k. I broke my own set of rules tonight .

I worked on it before the plow truck is done .

but I wanted this one for a bit now and I said screw it go for it .

that's 10:45pm at night and just the new led work lights I put up in the paint booth room .

and 1 ck5 point if someone can spot the problem with the cover . . . . got to call them tomorrow and get it resolved .

I agree, looks like there is a snap missing in the center of the tailgate area.

Have you seen teh new covers that use the plastic ribs instead of snaps? I think they work much better than the snaps. Maybe an upgrade when they fix it?

The truck looks nice.

there sending me the missing snap / cap .

and a little tool set to install it . it fits on a set of vise grips they say .

wow been a bit on this one . still have plans for it to be done .

found a deal on these super clean / straight / no dings / curb rash rims with 4 N.O.S center caps .

what do you guys think ? end look will be the 2 tone blue/white like the 1 in pic .

EDIT : guy turned out to be a real flake and wouldnt sell to me and or return my pm's or direct posts in he sale ad . i even offered to drive down to get them . i even sent a pic of the cash in hand ready to deal .
