I had put a 1" spacer in mine to reduce the travel in the rear to 3" and also put a 90 degree elbow on the nitrogen charge fitting and they fit under the bed.

Hadn't thought about reducing travel. Might have to open one up and see what's inside. I had some 4" in the front but they were way too long. I put some 2" up there now and was going to use the 4" in the back.
