2000 Chevy e-brake

My e-brake will go all the way to the floor. I tried adjusting it under the cab but it doesn't improve it any. Maybe the little drum brake pads are worn out inside the rear rotor?

Anybody have any experience with these?

no, thats how they are supposed to work. if its not holding, the shoes are probably worn out, or somebody left the brake on and gouged the little drum in the rotors.

Mine goes all the way to the floor as well (99). The recall is for the spring and somethin else...not sure. But it should still work fine even though it goes to the floor.

ya the newer ones go to the floor.
