2000 Chevy K3500

$1300 to drive one way. Not too bad. Ok so about 1100 miles so thats about $300 in gas. $1000 to drive one way and a airplane ride home. Let me know if you change your mind. [email protected] works best for me.:D

Yep that's about what I was figuring. So $300 for gas and say $400-$500 for a plane ride. So I'd be going to all the hassle for an extra $500. Not worth it IMO. Maybe if I was getting closer to my asking price but this isn't.
As time goes on the situation might change (I'll post up) but for now I need to see if I can get closer to my asking price.

What color is it? I cnt tell if its platinum or silver or gold

I don't know what color it is. It was re-painted at some point in time. It's close to the OE chevy color.... I guess you could say it's a flat platinum. :dunno:

have you ever flown before? a one way ticket would only be around 150-200 maybe 250 and you get to see some beautiful country

hell he is offering to pay for the ticket thats even better. in this economy and for the age of the truck 6300 is a pretty good offer.

you have it for sale on a national forum your gonna get bites all over not often are you able to sell it right in your own town or state, but for a guy to offer that and also a deal like the ticket it doesnt get much better than that.

just saying, it is your truck so do as you want.

Yes I fly pretty often. Been from here to Texas a bunch of times as well as Tennessee and Alabama a few times so I know what it costs to fly. I didn't realize he was throwing the ticket into the deal at first.
Either way let he and I hash it out. I'll have to think on it.

just throwing a opinion out there bud. nothing wrong with that. take it to PM's if you dont want opinions voiced on a public forum

 I just want tht truck soo bad! Trade for a 79 Blazer?:haha:
It's calling your name! I've had so many people back out it's comical. When guys want to look at it and drive it I straight up tell them I'm tired of everyone being a tire kicker so if they want to check it out they have to come to me. No more meeting half way and all this other crap just to have them say nice truck I'll see what I can scrape up and call you next week.

How about the old, "ok well i really like it, i just have to clear it with the wife now". Get that one yet?

Twice :D

I also got a guy that made me come out at night, looked it over and asked tons of questions then said, "well ok I have to get my girlfriend home so lets plan a time to test drive it".
What the heck is that?

I do my best to chat through all the BS on the phone, truthfully.
I've had pretty good luck on craigslist.

I expect anyone on deals under $10k to have the funds available, and much under $5k i expect cash in person at test drive. I often talk about this, and weed out the losers....and proceed.

I had my parents 01 tahoe sold in a weekend....and i never even washed it!

I should start doing that. No cash in hand no test drive. Heck I bet I've wasted $30+ in gas just letting stupid idiots drive around and let it sit there and idle the whole time they look it over and ask stupid questions.

since the thread is Hijacked:
I do a lot of sales but the one reason I don't stress about it is that I never am impatient no matter how much I need the money.
The point is If I need the money I can't afford to waste it, and I can't afford to lower the price too much if it's already priced right.
I also don't go out of my way, if they WANT it they will go the extra mile.
I have when I wanted to buy something.
I sometimes think maybe if I try a little harder I could get the buyer or the other but so far anyone that wanted what I had for sale would come and bug me when I ignore them (usually when I am really busy, I never ignore buyers just because).
They always seem to understand and still have interest and they always buy at the end.
I get a lot of people that show interest then disappear, never to mention they bought or changed their minds, at first I used to check back with people that communicated more than once, now I stopped.
If they ask I answer, and the sales come when they come.
I have sold more stufff that I wasn;t selling than what I advertize.
People PM me or call me out of the blue to ask me about parts and cars.:dunno:

Seems if jetwrench's deal is still on the table, that would work....?? If so, tell him to meet your price fo $6500, and do the deal. (That's only $200 more - drop in the bucket to add on.)
