My 4wd went out when I pushed the 4hi button. The lights went dead in the switch for selection and there was a little clunk like the transfer case was shifting from 2hi to 4hi. All the other lights are on in the switch just not the little light that shows what you are in. After some trouble shooting I found a dead fuse that I changed for the 4wd and that didn't cure the problem. After i changed the fuse then I had the service 4wd light in the dash. I swapped out a dash selector switch and that didn't fix it. I'm just at a loss. Any comments or help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the book.

There is a body mount underneath the driver door that has a ground cable(or two depending) that often gets corroded and causes four wheel drive issues. Take the bolts out and sand the metal and connectors and add some dielectric grease.

Thanks! Ill give that a shot. I'm also going to pick up a t-case motor tonight. I really hate the new push button stuff. I don't see what was wrong with the stick on the floor.
