So first off, these cars are designed a$$ backwards. The battery is under the seat for gawd sakes. And well the alternator is on the bottom of the motor for some reason and not on top. All the research ive done leads to the fact that it must be removed out the top, and that radiator, shroud, fans, and PS pump must be removed first... But to me it looks like the AC lines will have to be removed which we really do not want to do. This is in my step moms car, and the AC is the only thing left that works. Sun roof is sealed shut, none of the windows work.... so she kinda needs ac with summer approaching.

Really looking to see if anybody has done one of these and if there is a way to get it out the bottom instead before I start in on it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :thumb:

Damm no takers? I was really hoping to get on this thing friday and have it done so i can go wheelin saturday at the dunes. But without knowing what im getting into im kinda nervous to rip apart her DD and not be able to fix it.

Because I'm not at work I can't help too much....but if its a 3.4 dohc.....good luck.
Everything about those engines are a bitch
