I'm trying to decide if I should flush out all the fluid or just drain and fill what is in the tranny pan. There is about 3 quarts I removed from the pan by removing the tranny plug bolt. This is a 4l60e.

2001 silverado 1500 tranny flush or fill?

fill do it 2x, 3x. fill get it hot, drain hot. Drop pan and replace filter and filter seal the finial time.
Unless you have access to a flush machine, or ok with huge mess. Still do a new filter. Remember Cavitation kills.
