Does anyone know if a 2001 silverado front seat will fit in my 87 k5? Its a 40 20 40 split. Also will I have any problems making mounts or clearing the transmission hump.

Thanks...

i'm not sure if they will fit but i also plan on using the same type of seats. but maybe ones from a truck with a center consol just buckets. its nice cause there more comfortabe and the seata belts and intagrated.

The center seat from the 40 20 40 can be removed so all you have is the buckets but I like the center console part for a armrest ...

I don't see why they wouldn't fit. The only real problem is the lack of some sort of frame. I'm sure that you could attach the seat to a truck frame of the same year as your blazer, or rig something out of the existing seat frames in the truck. I have those seats in my 02 GMC and I love them! Super comfy, especially on long trips.
