2002 Avalanche Restoration Mommas Ride

My Mom was evolved in a fender bender and tje insurance company totalled it and I'm going to piece it back together. Sense I like taking pictures I thought I would do a legit build thread instead of my 82.

2002 avalanche 4x4 210k have had it sense brand new, completely stock other then a little wider offset wheels and steps.

Good for you man, not sure I'd have the guts to tackle it, although from the pics it looks mostly cosmetic.

Only thing mechanical is the radiator, everything else is awesome and it's only a broken tab. I have 3100 to get this thing in tip top shape!

Dang that is a heck of a deal.... If the insides are in great shape there's no loss... EVen if you had to put in a new motor or trans down the road you'd still save way more than buying a new truck, plus all the LS motor's now day... 210K isn't unheard of and is easy miles for fleet motors that have had the oil and fluids changed pretty regularly. Only downside is they usually have the pee run out of them by jugheads that drive them like hell...

I hit a deer with the wife's 01 mustang once. They didn't total but gave us $3800 for repairs . Between eBay and local aftermarket parts I fixed it for like $700 bucks without any paint work though. Then sold it a few yrs later for $2800. You should do just fine on yours. There's tons of avalanches out there for parts

Nope not at all, I should have the parts Tuesday and hopefully painted by Friday and I'll put the front end back together over the weekend and hopefully start on the other stuff.
