I know many of us have different tow vehicles that we use to tow our toys with. I have a 2001 Dodge 4x4 Cummins and 2002 Dodge 2WD Cummins dually. they were both stolen and recovered; albeit with the transmissions out on both. the 01 transmission lines were leaking when it was stolen and I had already bought new lines for it so when I had the transmission rebuilt I had the new lines installed. at the time the 02 was not leaking; looking back it would have been preventative maintenance to go ahead and replace the 02 lines but I didn't.
Back in December I sold a Jeep and delivered it. my lines started leaking while I was in Lubbock. I stayed with my daughter in Lubbock for about a week and I put 5 quarts in it to return home (about 180 miles) and by the time I got home it was needing more fluid. I parked it and have not driven it since. I ordered a Power Driven Diesel hose kit for it; now I am looking at either a Mishimoto or Swag cooler to replace the factory cooler.
since I live in the south where it is not real cold I am contemplating bypassing the heat exchanger; and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on it?

edit: I also have the Derale transmission pan cooler on both trucks.
