ok so it isnt a truck so thought id put it here...
anyway... thought id help a neighbor out and save $1200.... and replace the clutch in his sons 2002 mitsubishi eclipse gt 3.0L
i found an online manual and it sucks...
but anyway I got it all pulled apart.. and even pulled the trans back about 2 inches... i just cant figure out how to get it out the rest of the way. The trans is hitting the upper control arm bracket. That bracket goes from drivers side to passenger side and his a huge piece of aluminum..
so has anyone worked on a eclipse and know of a secret?
if i cant figure it out... he will have to pay more than $1200 to have it replaced as most mechanics dont like working on what others have torn apart... usually because they need to take their time and figure out what goes where at that point!!!!!
