2002 Sonoma AKA S-10 Upgrade

I'm just going to let your imaginations run for now.

Well, we know the other small body has rear frame issues, and you've mentioned V8 power in the past, so maybe S-10 v2.0?

I want to do so many changes to the S-10 that it made more sense to just buy another truck. I paid $800 for a running driving Sonoma (salvage title) and I should be able to sell the parts I'm not using for more than that.

This isn't going to be my typical 3 month project either, it's probably going to be a 2 year project.

For some reason I thought this was a crewcab 4 door. Either way I'm excited to see this build and what changes you do.

LOL, the update is I decided to build a shop before I tore into this thing. I did get it inspected so it doesn't have a salvage title anymore...

I need to start a thread on the shop build

Oh you can do that?
In California once it's salvage it's for life

Iowa is the same way. A junking certificate or salvage title is permanent unless you get lucky and the clerk forgets to transfer over the salvage part like my friend had happen.

In Arizona you can't register/drive it with a "Salvage" title. You have to get it inspected, then you get a "restored salvage" title. Sorry for the confusion.

Ok so it's still a salvage.
Same in California you have to get it inspected and then you can register it but it will say salvage on the title.

LOL, the dogs are causing issues with the shop build already. The bigger one (Slick) doesn't like that we're rearranging "his" yard. He's discovered he can get over our fence somehow (still not sure how). He's jumped the 7 foot fence twice already...

My Rottweiler I used to own could climb a chain link fence and get out if she wasn't kept fed and watered. Never saw her do it but she got out of a 30 x 70 kennel with 6 foot sides several times. The smaller one I had her in first we had to tarp over the top to keep her in.
