Today i went to nyc for work, i took my truck. im having issues, its the first time it happened to me today, i have wide open cats, last 02 sensor with extender, and everything else is new. dont know what sup. i barely have idle, every stop light i had to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it running, it started abt noon today, and by 5 or 6 pm i texted chas, gmc4cw, to see if he knows whats up with my truck, he doesnt have a clue. so i was pissed at my truck. makes driving a bit dangerous:doah: i had to shift the truck in neutral at every stop light to keep the engine running, when i shift in D i got to keep my foot in the gas pedal and the brake on at the same time, but everytime i didnt, i forget the truck stalls in the city! so lots of starts and putting in gear got a bit annoying to me. i have no clue. no engine light, stopped by my friends a bit ago, throwing NO codes.

On the highway, runs beautifully and flawlessly, abt 20 mpg, and strong. no problems at passing cars. just putting in gear and tryin to keep it running at low speed, idle sucks too. like 400 in neutral, and less than 200 rpms in gear. my friend thinks its the 02 extender i put in.. but why now? it ran great for a week. just the first long trip, instead of usin the work van. he say that the last 02 sensor should get a little amount of air, beside having it all the way up in the extender where its hard to get exhaust air thru the holes?? let me know, im off work tomorrow im gonna play w the truck.

what do u guys think is the problem? hope i made sense.. im a lil bit stressed out abt the whole idle thing in nyc.. i kept watching my rpms alot thru the traffic... and i want to keep the truck:p:

id clean the throttle plate to start, just cus its easy and really cheap to do so, but otherwise can u get into the computer, and see the data. if not make sure your egr valve isnt open at idle, and there is no vacuum leaks.

done, runs like a new truck, once again:rolleyes: the throttle plate was dirty, and i had to mod the O2 extender. instead i bought a 18 mm oil fouler plugs and drilled it out, grinded it down. now its good, no idle problems, yay.
