UPDATE: I sold the body but still have engine/trans/transfer case and rear end.

Kinda ruff but has the good stuff.
Good running 8.1, 4l80, disc brake 14 bolt with 4.10s.
Would be a good rat rocker, parts truck or even could be restored. Runs and drives ok.
Has cats kinda hillbilly installed just to get the exhaust to the back.
All the bells and whistles, heated seats, sunroof, dvd player etc....
Have extra doors, body cladding, new tail light lenses, headlights etc....
Good recent Colorado title in my name.

I would have gladly bought this one if it was a year earlier I got a much cleaner body, almost perfect but 2wd.
Paid the same price.
All I want is the running gear and I feel bad because it is a good truck to keep together.

I think only pickups got the Allison. Suburban, YukonXL and Avalanche are about the same thing and got 4L80/85-E due to lower trans tunnel (and lack of body lift option).

yep trucks got allison trans .

suv's and vans got 4L80-e or 4L85-e trans . . even the D-MAX van option got a 4L trans behind a detuned d-max motor and the filters and other stuff was moved on vans to just fit them in the van hole .

I just pulled it out. Not sure on price. I cruised it up and down the block and it really runs good, zero smoke on start up and good oil pressure after warm.

If it were 4wd I probably would have kept it but it will power my 89 suburban
