Bought this truck from my office because i NEEDED a truck, and my burb was under the knife. Burb is back on its feet, and the Excursion has to go.

Listed at $10500 on Craigslist, but will sell at $9500 to CK5 member.

If any craigslist buyers find this post, i'll make them pay membership here before giving them the Ck5 discount :haha:

No interest? Really? Figured someone would be interested in this beast!

Is the V10 the most desirable motor in this truck? No.

But the Powerstroke ones are going for close to $20k.

You can buy a lot of gas for 10k.

Great newer rig for not very much money. Absolutely blown away to have this nice of a truck for the price, just don't need it .

A family at my church used to have a v10 excursion on 37's that she daily drove and they towed their toy hauler with. Got horrible mileage but he said it pulled well and never left them stranded.
Looks like a really clean truck but why buy a $10,000 rig just to turn around and sell it?

Needed a truck that was driveable. Simple as that. My burb was having all sorts of issues, and wasn't sure if it was gonna be back on the road soon.

Got lucky, and got mine reliable again, and the ford has to go!

And, mileage wise, yes, it gets crappy mileage, but its about the same as my burb gets, and its got 2-3x the power.

Nice truck, wish I could spend 10K and take it off your hands. But the wife wants stupid flooring redone....:(

As long as the auction buyer picks it up, its sold!

Deposit received.

F*cking ebay. Guy treated it like craigslist. And technically, Ebay motors stuff is "non binding".

If anyone wants it for $8500 (winning bid), its yours.

how he treat it like craigslist? sucks about him backing out

He basically showed up not prepared to buy. Ran a carfax that he didn't' like for some reason AFTER winning.

I took the high road, and decided not to put my ebay reputation at risk to fight with him.

You said deposit was paid..... Non refundable right. You got that for wasting your time?

Nope. As much as it was due to me, i did not want to start a pissing match over it, go through an ebay dispute, and end up with negative feedback on my account.

Really wanted to keep it and tell the guy to go F himself, but really, it wasn't worth it. Moving on....

I'd have done it. Had one a few years ago and Ebay backed me on it and removed the negative feedback.

Sucks though man.

They could have backed me, but really, i've grown wiser over disputes like this, and its NOT worth the headache involved. It really isn't. Although, i'd love to see that $500...
