I have always hated the push button TC's... I don't have any reason to but I just don't trust them... I was surfin' the new eBay Motors and ran across this '05 K2500 w/ a 6.0L and noticed in the pics it isn't push button but has a manually selectable TC... have I just missed this or is it a rare option?

Scroll down to the pics and check out the interior shots, you can see the TC shifter in the floor...

Yeah theres a few out there but they are pretty uncommon. I am told it is only available on the base models. I want to say it still has anctuator up front just like the older ones.

I think the "new" trucks with the HD front clip, the 6.0 in a standard cab long bed are just about the perfect setup (for those of us w/o kids that is) :)

They just look right proportionally to me...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ That truck had a floor shift. You could feel the linkage and hear the clunk...it sure was nice...

Only option on that thing was bucket leather seats though. It had a center console delete and also a bumper delete. And the sh*tiest 245/75R16 tires youve ever seen.

well then use that 6.0L and roast those tires...

My 05 LS was optioned with the floor shift and when my brother ordered his 07 LT he got the floor shift. Not all that uncommon if you look at some used trucks.

My '03 2500HD has a floor shift t-case...it's not a fully loaded LT or anything, but a well optioned LS model. It was within a couple hundred dollars sticker price of at least 2 dozen other trucks that were all about the same with the exception of the t-case shifter, and this was the only one I found with the manual shift t-case (wasn't even looking for that option specifically, it just happened to be the only truck in the CC/SB configuration this dealer had left).

If the truck still existed.....drey got t-boned in that truck by a Mack a couple days ago!

Got my new 08 today...still got a floor shifter

The 07 got totaled out Avery

phew... you guys and your new trucks... I think I'm in the wrong business :)
