Say I wanted to take the doors off a newer chev truck.

The hinges are welded on right. Do you just knock the pins out?
Is that the right way to do it?

Hook up a chain through the door, pull it off using either a tractor or a large cow..

There is a thought!

I'll rat myself out here...

Dean needed to get his pick-up and trailer to the back by our garage, so I had to move the Durango. Dean was parked along the curb in front of the house just past the mouth of the alley. I got to the mouth of the alley and stabbed the gas a little. We had about an inch of fresh snow on top of the hardpack that was already there.

Anyways the back end of the Durango kicked out a hell of a lot further than I expected, and in a flash I'm now perpendicular to Deans truck and headed straight for it. I locked em up and stopped about three inches from his driver's door...:eek1: :doah:

AWD is cool, but not as predictable as RWD for that sort of thing.

This thread just got sooooo much better :haha:

I'm a little late to the party, but its pretty easy. The wiring unplugs behind the kick panels. Take the center bolt out of each hinge (3 total) and lift off.
