My 2007 Trailblazer just cuts out without notice while driving in town and on the highway? Then when you turn the key off and back to start it doesn't even crank the starter. If I wait about a min or so it starts right up as normal as could be. I've heard fuel pump but what does that have to do with the starter? Any help or ideas?

Sounds like the infamous ignition switch issue, they go out all the time.
Replace it and I bet it will take care of your problem.

That would cause it to cut out like this? Not questioning your intelligence but would like a second opinion before I jump on that.

Well I am a tech for gm and I currently own 2 trailblazers,a 06 lt and a 08 ss so you can take that for what it is worth, but without looking at it myself that is what it sounds like.
It also is a cheap part, like 40 bucks from a parts store.

If you YouTube "trailblazer ignition switch" you will find some videos showing how easy it is
