Who here is running or has experience with '07 and up bodystyle Chevys as far as lift/tire/wheel combos?

My cousin has an '07 1500 and is wanting to run 37's with the 6" he has now and possibly a small bodylift. He doesn't hardcore wheel it but get a little flex now and again. He's lookin at some 37/14-17'' Iroks on some 17x9's with 5.25 BS. He wants to add a little bodylift to clear 37's if needed.

just did a 2010 1500 crew cab.

6" lift kit and 35x12.50 tires. big time rub and thay had to send it to a body shop to cut/section/repains the back sides of the fenders. then cut and clearence the front bumper/valence ares.

the newer 07-up body style have much more square fender openings. much more dificult to fit bigger .

if he wants to i would go 3" body with gap gaurds to cover that unsightly side hole gaps.

then try 1 37 on it to check. might have to clearence.
