So obviously off base for our normal vehicle discussion here but I know a lot of guys here have newer trucks like me also. So I have my 08 2500HD. Trucks been great I have no plans on getting rid of it or trading it in, like pretty much ever lol. The new design front end on the 2014(15)+ is the first truck Ive ever actually said Ive been tempted to want to go trade mine in on and upgrade...

Its primarily how downright awesome the headlight/grill design is. So I started taking a gander for shits and giggles to see if anyones retrofitted the head lights and grille into an older model. Ive seen guys do it with a long list of expensive factory parts, which I have no interest in doing. Im curious if anyone makes a kit OR a 2015+ styled grille/headlights for the last gen truck.

I found this

But just like with fenders for my 94 the fiberglass companies have 0 interested in selling anything but flared fenders. And I dont want to change my fenders anyway...

So out of curiosity has anyone looked into this?

I actually spent a few hours looking to upgrade my 03 2500hd into looking newer, everything i found was exactly what your finding. The only way was to put flared fenders on and i'm in the same boat and didn't want to do that. I just decided to do the 07 classic hood and grill. That way it looks a little newer, for yours tho i'm not really sure since yours is an hd

How about some junkyard fenders?
Is the cab the same? Like when we do the 80 into an 81+?

No its a completely different truck to my knowledge. Infact I dont even want to consider it with factory parts. Basically I just want a pair of headlights and grille that the horizontal center bar of the grill splits the headlights in half. Thats what makes it look so good IMO. Its the defining characteristic of the classic chevy front end.

My first thought when I saw that new style was how much it looked like a nod to the 90's trucks.

I'm not sure what you mean, it still has a cross grill with 4 headlights :dunno:

Thats why I bought a 15 2500hd. Looks so much better than the 09-13 hd trucks.

Another plus on the 15 and ups is the standard projector housings are damn awesome.
