All,
I haven't had time to look too in to this yet but it's a 2008 Malibu. The blower motor will stop blowing occasionally. It won't work on any speed. You can hear the compressor turn on and cycle with the fan switch on. And, when it works it works fine. No noise, now weakness. Nothing really seems to make it come back on. It just did it when it feels like it. I'm guessing either a bad connection or a relay on its way out. Is there anything else it could be?

I would look for a bad relay. If blower motor is easy to get to you might pull it out and see if it spins freely by hand but usually its kind of an all or nothing thing where it is either good or bad.

No. Nothing auto thankfully. Thanks guys. I'm hoping relay. Nice and easy!

I had a chance to mess with it this morning and found the problem. Bad plug at the blower motor. It has over heated for some reason and partially melted. The blower motor still seems to work fine so I don't know what caused the issue.. But its fixed for now!
