I hit two hundred thousand miles on my 98 S-10 ZR2 the other day. I have owned the rig for about six years and the only problem I have ever had was when I got a gas tank fillup of water. And the intake gasket blew a couple years ago, but I figure everyone assumed the gasket had gone like they always do. I am pretty sure everything is original and it is still running pretty well.
Now I need to start surgery on the ifs like I have always wanted to. I almost have all the parts I need to run a wagoneer 44 front, narrowed 14bff rear and 35" BFG KM2s with these up front.
I wish I could get going on this thing soon but my school schedule is really killing my income and spare fabricating time. And I'm pretty sure I'll be moving away from my dad's nice heated shop with 220 power and two hoists when I graduate in the spring. I kinda need this baby for the big upcoming winter also. I'll get going on it some day, I love this truck. Go Chevy Go.
