I cut and pasted the pic submission requirements from Can-Can's thread (sorry!). The only difference between the two will be the email addresses. Since I'm heading up the Sub-Culture calendar, my email addresses are listed below.I'll need as many pics as I can get by mid October so I can sort through them and get them to Can-Can.
*NOTE* I'll take submissions for ANY Burb, stock to chopped. If it looks like it has/had four doors and a Burban-esque body, it'll work. And dont feel that you have to buy a calendar to submit pics, I just need to be able to fill up 13 pages. Whatever doesnt get used this year (or if the calendar doesnt go to print) I'll use/reuse next year. Thanks and happy submitting!
1. You must be a supporting member in order to submit a picture. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR CK5 USERNAME AND REAL NAME WITH YOUR SUBMISSION.
2. Pics need to be HI-RES, with a minimum resolution of 1200x1600 pixels. This really shouldn't be a problem anymore seeing that everyone and his dog has a 10MP camera. Whenever possible, try to submit pics taken "long side down" so we can maximize page usage. Grainy or out-of-focus pics will not be accepted. If you dont know what this means, just look at the cover of an offroad magazine.
3. Along with your pic, please include a list of your truck's specs, in this order:
Year, make and model, motor, tranny, TC, front and rear axles, gears, lift size and brand, tire size and brand, wheel size and brand(if applicable), any special "extras" that you think set your truck apart from others.
As well, please include the location where the pic was taken.
4. We are looking for amazing action shots with awesome background scenery. Poser shots will be considered if the background is too good to ignore. If you've purchased a calendar in the past, you know what we're looking for. Keep in mind that this is not a beauty or a popularity contest- I look forward to receiving pics of ALL KINDS OF RIGS, not just tricked-out trail rigs. Please understand that pics will be judged on photographic merit more than the vehicle itself.
5. We will be accepting submissions until OCT 15th. We have 13 spots to fill, including the much-coveted cover page shot, which up until last year always featured Steve Fox's UAV. I'm not sure what we're gonna do with the back page this year- last year's took on a life of its own after bp71K5's submission (dont know what we'll use for the Sub-Culture)...........

All submissions can be sent to me at either [email protected] or ifthat doesnt work try [email protected]. The second email is my work address, so dont send links to photobucket or anything like that, they wont work. I'll be sure to keep the mailboxes clear so that noone gets an undeliverable message.
I'd really like to see RoCK5:SCE take off this year. As I stated in another thread, I tried this last year, but got started really late in the game and couldnt make production time. Hopefully we can make it this year!
