We have a one ton crew cab dodge with a service bed on it. I switched the rear tail lights to LED but now it gives indicators on the dash that the rear lights are out, when they aren't. I gather that this is because the LEDs do not draw enough current to indicate to the computer that the lights are working.
I've heard that the computer can be reprogrammed to indicate that there are LEDs in the rear or you can add a resistor.

Anybody have any info on reprogramming the computer or know what size resistor to add?

Thanks

I work at a dodge dealer. just take it there and have them "turn on" the led lamp circuit in the tipm. they will probably cherge you $50 to do it though.
