I am still getting wonky readings for the fuel pump on this truck. We replaced it about 6 months ago with a Delphi unit but it only puts out about 37 to 45 psi. I'm getting crazy codes on fuel pump performance. Specifically p2635 and p018b. I've already replaced the fuel pressure sensor with a GM unit. The high pressure fuel pump pressure seems fine.

I'm going to put a GM OEM pump in there. In the meantime however I would like to confirm the fuel pressure by putting a mechanical gauge on it. For my understanding the Chevys before 2014 had a Schrader valve that was easily accessible in the engine bay. Also from my understanding, starting in 2014 they stopped putting on the Schrader valve mechanical fuel pressure gauge port.

Is there a recommended procedure or location to tie a mechanical fuel pressure gauge into the system? Are there any specific part numbers to facilitate this? I have a mechanical fuel pump gauge with several attachments but I would appreciate any information from somebody who is already done this procedure about the best way to go about it. Thank you in advance for any and all information.
