So the new 203 t-case attached to the new tranny I picked up has the part time conversion in it. I guess I need to get a set of hubs, any suggestions? Not so bad as I have to tear apart the brakes anyway and was planning on bearings and the such in the hubs.

I think my only 2 options are warn or mile marker so what say you? Model numbers?

Oh and is there a special set for the part time conversion or will a standard set work?

reg set should work just fine.

bet you dont need bearings . just seals and repack the bearings .

also save the drive slugs and caps . you can sell them or save for trail limp out from middle of no were spare.

Thanks for the info. Got the hubs on order.

Next question, parts guy thought after a conversion the T/C needed difrent oil, but his info would not go back that far. So once again any info would be helpful. Or if it doesn't change what is best to use.

Thanks guys.

So after some Google fu, checking some reference books and jacking around between 2 T/C's yesterday I found out that the 203 uses standard motor oil instead of gear oil, doesn't matter if it is stock or part time conversion. Most refrences say 10-40 is best some 30 wt. I will be going with the 10-40.

One thing for sure is do not use tranny fluid as some suggest and in the 203 only do not use gear oil (to heavy for proper lubrication) as it uses the splash method.

Thought I would finish this out so anyone on a search will find an answer. Thanks guys.
