I need to ship a 203 range box with adapter and shaft to another member. What works best for shipping one as far as a box or crate or what ever. Thanks in advance.

Make or locate a wooden box that is just big enough for the items plus a small amount of filler material. Mine was done with 3/4" plywood and 2x4's.

I've done similar to ship 208's and 241's. But the only way I have shipped 203's, because of the weight, is truck freight. Then all I do is strap/tie to a pallet and wrap with "industrial" plastic shipping wrap.

Be sure to stuff it in a heavy duty garbage bag. Shippers get all freaked out by fluid leaks. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Use a igloo cooler and tape the foooool out of it. Lot's of filler, put something on the outside like "human remains". It would work, trust me.

I saw something just like that on a FedEx truck once. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

Yeah, I drained the oil already and then flushed it again with cleaning solvent.

I shipped a 203 rangebox to Dan (Krazie87K5) in Chicago.
I stuffed it into a trashbag and placed it in an Igloo cooler.

The guy @ Forward Air asked what is in it....I should have said a kidney or liver or something!
