seems like somewhere I read there is a fix for this but I have searched & not found it. My 203 seems to want to come out of gear. Is there a simple detent fix? For now I'm going to bungee it but 8 low deserves better.

Typically it's a shifter problem, they are a notoriously poor design. Lots of folks fix it by converting to a twin stick shifter.
You might consider putting it in the gear it usually pops out of and then disconnect the shifter from the tcase. Make sure it's engaged in gear completely and drive it so see if it still pops out of gear.

Hmmm, thinking.... I did not have this problem till last night..... I just raised my transfer case but have a ORD triple stick that is connected to the transfer case. I'll double check my linkage & adjustment tonight.
