I bought a 1973 Blazer a few months back and have swaped the axles from my 1982 K-10 pickup. The 208 T-case is next. Any suprises in store I wonder or is it a simple bolt in like the axles?

I think the driveshafts will be different. One is likely a slip yoke and the other a fixed yoke. There may be other issues when mounting it to the trans, I don't know.

Yes I had to get the u-joint that is one size one way/ late model to early model styl. I have a good shop to get drive line items as they all drive chevys.

I noticed the support bracket holes are different. I assume I'll mount to the trans and then drill new bracket holes.

Look where the rear driveshaft connects to the t-case at, they are probably different.

Yes, I was gonna get the drive shaft out of the pickup shortened . The 208 has a slip joint and the 203? has a yoke. I wonder about the shift linkages and shifter mainly or any thing I need to watch out for.
