203 to 241 swap??

Asking for a buddy. He has a '75 K5 with a TH350 and 203. He's had to rebuild the 203 twice and the chain keeps causing probs. Anyway, he found a good deal on a 241 from a '91K5 that had a 700r4. What all would be involed in this swap transfer cases only(203 to 241), assuming it will work anyway.

trans needs new tail shaft. the 203 uses 3/4 stick out length. the 208 ups use a longer one. other than that drive line mods and need the shifter. plus 91 will be electric speedo not cable.
