203 to Dana 300 doubler

Has anyone used this setup before? I saw that Stazworks has the adapter available and I just happen to have a D300 laying in the garage. Is it as good as a 203/205 setup? would be great to actually have something that isn't going to cost me much to upgrade!!

oh it will cost you a bit to upgrade. Stazworks, NorthWest Fab, and Wagoner Machine Shop all have 203 to 300 doublers. But I'm pretty certain you have to upgrade the output shafts just to take the torque applied by the doubler. The cool thing is that you have the already available low gears for Dana 300s. So combine a 203 with a 300 then 4:1 gears in the 300 and wow is that a crawl box.
