on the truck im building its got a 205 witht the front yoke that holds the actual u-joint, the 203 that came out of the parts truck takes the Circlular design.

the stock shaft no-longer fits, and i have an extended front driveshaft BUT it mounts via the circular yoke. is it possible to swap them over? and if it is do i need to take caution and buy a new nut like i would do when replacing a pinion seal?

thanks guys

chris

Just do a 30 spline front output conversion and use the 203 flange. The swap is easy to do and can even be done in the truck. You can get the front output shaft from ORD and i think NWF.

hmm i may have to check that out! thanks man...i should prolly check and MAKE sure that the extended shaft is aboot the right size first though...
