205 and 208 slip?

I don't think so. The 205 that had the slip was a 400 shaft, Which is usually bigger than the 208's. Atleast with the one's I've had.

My 208 uses a CV shaft from a 400 turbo cadiallac....

I had an 84 K30 with the stock slip-yoke 205 (with a TH400), and it was directly interchangeable with the slip yoke that came stock in my 86 K10 with a 208(and SM465). I was going to swap the driveshafts when I rolled the K30, but the shaft was a bit long.

It is the stock slip and CV joint....but the shaft was cut to length with the correct yoke on the rear end side.

the reason i am asking is i had a 91 with a 241(new 208) and the one i have know is a 73 with aa 465-205 slip i wanted to know if the spares i have would work with me 73 or not.

'73 uses a Spicer (yoke) front output while '91 uses a Saganaw (plate)
