205 clock ring anyone use it

Saw on ebay:

What i was wondering was say that the clock ring is 1/2 a inch thick. then i think you would loss 1/2 a inch of splines. Right?? I not sure how much is there to start with.

I never read any posts on this... what is its main purpose? is this what you can use to flat belly a truck? that would make sharper driveshaft angles right? also wouldnt that also make the NP205 stucks rotated too?

The one that I have seen clocks the 205 up 3" and 6". It comes with two 1/4" spacers for the spline coupler.

The only issue that I see is getting the shifter to work OK since the adapter where it bolts to does not clock. Maybe its fine, dont know.

I have considered this....
