Trying to iron out the last few issues with my 78. Got the speedometer working, got my steering lines ironed out.

Now it seems my 205 is leaking like a tea bag. It has a fixed yolk front and rear and it's leaking from both. I don't know what it came out of, I swapped it over, and the local parts store (Napa) need to know a model and year to get me the correct parts. It it helps any it's a sm465/205 combo.

Here's a pic my woman took about an hour ago of me working on the old girl. Gotta wait for Napa to open for new Rad hoses, mine are always wet. Antifreeze bleeds thru them.

Well, theres your trouble right there.
You've got some guy living under your hood........

I'm guessing that there are a couple of different seals for a 205, but rockauto only shows a few.
If I had to make an educated guess, I would go with a TIMKEN Part # 473468
for the rear, and a TIMKEN Part # 710005 for the front.

Rock shows them fitting the vast majority of 205s over the years.
There are probably part numbers on them when you pull the yokes.

Did you put the little washers in where the shaft splines are,if you don't have them you can use rtv.Had that problem with mine. Then a buddy at the shop told me where those weird washers went.I used rtv and no more leaks.
