The rear output on a yoke style 205, Does the Nut inside the yoke do anything except hold the yoke on and also the input yoke on a divorced 205 again does the nut that holds the yoke on do anything other than that?

Both of those nuts control the endplay of the shaft they are attached to so keeping them tight is very important.
