When I removed the shift rail, I thought I had the allen wrench in to hold the shift fork in position, well I didn't and the fork fell. How can I get it back into position so I can install the modified shifter? I have the PTO cover off, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Never mind that, I somehow got both hands in there and was able to get back in position. I think it was a little bit of luck.

Kind of a new issue. I can't seem to get front wheel high. I can get every other combination. Any ideas on this?

I had a similar thing happen and thought i had screwed up, and it turned out I didn't have the rear in neutral, it was in between. Triple-check that the rear axle is in neutral.

Mistake on my part, I can get front wheel high, But I can not get front wheel low, the shift rail will not go completely into neutral. Does this mean I didn't grind enough of the rail. Which one needs to be ground more?

I ended up grinding more off of the one on the end of the rail. Now I get different combinations. Maybe this will help someone in the future.

did the same thing when i swapped my front output for 32 spline. its bitch when its still in the truck!
