asking for a friend. what do you need and what does it take to convert a former th400 205 transfercase slip yoke rear (chevy) to a fixed yoke? thanks.

Not sure on the exact procedure, but it is basically removing the output shaft and housing, then replacing with the new fixed yoke housing and shaft. Install the yoke and you are good to go.
Not much help I know. Mainly I plan on getting the Lomax kit to get the 3:1 low, and it will include a fixed output.
