205 speedometer

my speedometer is not working, i have replaced everything in front of the output for the speedo cable on the 205. and have verified with a drill that everything is working. so what am i in for in the x-case?

The drive gear in your 205 may be plastic and might be broken.

Take the yoke off and the aluminum seal housing. Simply pull the big bearing out of the casting pull the speedo gear out and replace with a new one. RTV the compnents upon reassembly.
