sorry if this been discussed before but i couldn't find anything..

before my twin stick speedo worked after twin stick nothing any idea what i may have screwed up...it has lokar cable and i can spin the end of the cable and the speedo works in the cab...so its in the t-case

used the complete twin stick kit from ORD..

thanks for any advice

Actually even with the rear disengaged the driveshaft will be spun by the rear axle and your speedo would still work.

Pull the speedometer drive and look in the hole at the gear to see if it's stripped out.

so i just unbolt the adapter where the cable goes into and then i should be able to see the gear?

if it is stripped is it replaceable?

Not only replaceable, but often has to be changed when you change tire sizes to correct the reading.
So, its designed to be replaced.

Yep - just like Fordum said it is replaceable. I had to order one for the 205 I'm working with that came from a parts donor truck I bought.

This might not be correct size for your application but its what I got. And turns out it isn't going to work for me either most likely with my 38's.

Make sure you didn't lose the drive shaft the is suppsoed to be in the adapter.
