looking for 205 yokes front and rear and also the cross member for 203 or 205...or if anyone knows the best place to buy new ones...thanks lots..

You should specify what spline count you need on the yokes. The older 205's had 10 spline front yokes, later ones were 30 spline front flanges (no yoke available) or there is the 32 spline front output shaft from Ford NP205's that can be swapped into the GM unit as an upgrade...

ok

let me count the splines front , rear and we will go from there, i wont be able to do it till tom afternoon, illl post it up then here.... thanks......are the 203 and 205 crossmember the same? they look it but im not sure..anyone???.........let me know what you guys want for them then..

yokes

my splines are 32 rear and 30 front... i found a 203 crossmember today and a 203 case out back in my mess today.. with a flange on the front and yoke on the rear..anyone know if those will work??

IIRC they will work but you might need a different size seal (different ID to fit the yoke).

yokes

do you think a seal for a 203 will work if the one i have is the wrong size..??

Seals can be had by dimensions. Just measure the OD of the seal for the 205 and also the width and then measure the OD of the yoke you're using so that you'll know what the ID of the seal needs to be.

And don't buy your seals from a parts house that doesn't understand how to look them up by dimensions!

Any parts store with mostly full time employee's that are over 30 and have worked there for a long time usually is a good place.

my 208 has a flange on the front how many splines does that have and will my front shaft work, it looks close but even if the 208 flange wont work will the drive shaft..?

208/241 flanges are 32 spline. I know this because i have a 241 flange on my 32 spline front output on my 205 sitting in the garage.

Hmm... this would allow one to run a flange on the rear output of a 205.

Yes, that is correct. The only thing is you would need to find the proper seal since the OD of the 208/241 flange is smaller than the Yoke for a 205.

sorry guys i got all the parts for almost free...thankyou for all your offers and answers, greatly appreciated. i called last week to a buddy that had my case and trans in his garage and he looked at it and said 30 spline rear, i was there today..its a slip yoke. that sux, i got a front shaft and the right flange for 10 bucks and the slip yoke for 5 but the shaft was destroyed...how close would it be to use my shaft for the 208 and change the yoke to the one with the 205...?? i posted it the garage also..
