How many different types of this adaptor exist?? Think they make a short and tall, but what about different thickness?? Reason I ask, I just tried to put my t-case in, and only went on about 2-3". I have a 2wd TH400, said adaptor, and a 2" spacer to match with the Ford 205. It looks like a 400/205 for a GM case is the right thinkness, so looks like I'm gonna havta hit the yard and look for a thick adaptor???? SOOOOO close to getting this thing going again!!!!! :angry1::angry1::angry1:

I'm pretty sure all the 208/241 adapters are the same thickness, (at least behine an auto tranny).

TH400 2WD has a couple different length tail shafts. The shortest shaft is the same as a 4WD but there are 2 others IIRC that are longer.

Well, I guess I have the longer output. Figures. Not inless I can use the 6 bolt adaptor off a 205, but think the clocking is different. Sh!t.
