I have a new never used sye for a 208 or 241 transfercase. I pick up a 205 and no longer need it. I have the instructions. I will let it go for 150 OBO.

i gotta assume it slips into the slip yoke and you bolt it to it? is there an easy way to drill the output shaft?

Not to sure about an easy way. I was going to put the shaft in a vice and start with a small bit and work my way up. That is how i would of done it until i found a 205.

wouldnt you have problems with the hole being square? id assume itd have to be perfectly square

ive never opened up a x case before. i have a 241. how difficult is it to pull the shaft? i have to replace the input and output seals so i might as well do this.

one more thing, could i keep my spare slip yoke shaft as a spare and just unbolt the flange in the event of a driveshaft failure.

Its not to difficult. I removed the output tail housing and bearing housing. Then the pump. Then remove the case bolts. Remove the rear case half. Just lift the output shaft off with the drive gear and chain. and yes just un bolt it and the old shaft can be used.
