208 4low funky noise...

ok i put my truck in 4low today just for no reason at all. im stopped in the entrance of my neighbor hood. bc my buddy asks how much the truck "jumps" in 4low. i have my hubs unlocked and when i move it winds up like a son of a bitch. no rpms just like a loud whirring...is that normal? this is on pavement btw. i forgot if i does in off road...

did you really put it in nuetral did the truck move? perhaps rong shift pattern near shifter should go 2-hi 4-hi N 4-lo

I believe that's the transfer case whirring. If that means something is wrong, then my truck is definitely messed up. But I believe it's normal. Let someone else clarify this for us. Sorry I couldn't.

no i put it in N and then shifted into 4low. then it i let her idle and tapped the gas and it moved fine. but lke i said it whirred lol idk guess im just paraniod...lol
